Gantry Crane Rail
Gantry crane rails, also named as gantry crane tracks, are important components for the operation of lifting equipment, and the laying of rails is also very important for the safe operation of equipment, such as common gantry cranes, bridge cranes, etc.
Technical requirements before laying gantry crane rails
Before gantry crane track installation, rails, bolts, plywood, etc. should be inspected. If there are cracks, corrosion or failure, they should be replaced immediately. For rail surfaces and sides where repairs are permitted, wear defects shall not exceed 3 mm.
The track gasket should be in close contact with the track and the ground beam of the gantry crane. Each level of gaskets should not exceed 20 pieces, the length should be greater than 100 mm, and the width should be 10 to 20 mm wider than the bottom of the rail. The distance between the two sets of gaskets and the main beam of the steel crane should be welded firmly. The actual contact area between the gasket and track section shall not be less than 60% of the nominal contact area.
Track joints can be made into angled joints with an angle of 45°or straight joints. Angled joints allow smooth wheel transitions at the joints. Usually, the gap of the joint is 1 ~ 2 mm. When the construction or installation temperature in winter in cold areas is lower than the temperature used all year round, and the difference is more than 20 ℃, the temperature gap should be considered, generally 4 ~ 6 mm. The joints of the two guide rails should be staggered by more than 500 mm at the joint.
End blocks should be provided at the ends of the rails to prevent the crane from derailing from both ends. The deviation between the actual center line of the track and the geometric center line of the track shall not be greater than 3 mm; the longitudinal inclination angle of the track is 1/1500; the allowable deviation of the relative height of the two tracks is 10 mm.
Technical requirements for track installation of double-girder gantry crane
The flatness of the road has an impact on the safe driving of the car, and the same is true for the double-girder gantry crane. It runs on a track installed on the ground. The installation of the track is related to the good operation of the equipment, and the same is true for the bridge crane. For the same reason, let's talk about the technical requirements for track installation of double-girder gantry cranes.
1. The joints of the gantry crane rails can be straight or made into 45-degree mitered joints. Miter joints allow for a smooth transition of cart wheels to the ground. The gap between joints is generally 1 ~ 2 mm. At the ends of the two rails, strong blocks are installed to prevent the crane from derailing from both ends, causing serious accidents such as the crane falling from high altitudes.
2. The lateral displacement or uneven error of the two gauges at the grounding point shall not be greater than 1 mm.
3. For two parallel rails, on different sections in the span direction, the height error H of the rails shall not exceed 10 mm at the columns and 10 mm at other places.
4. On the same side of the track surface, the elevation error between two columns and adjacent columns shall not exceed B/1500 (B is the column spacing in millimeters), but shall not exceed 10 mm.
5. The track span, the center of the track and the center of the supporting track beam, and the direct error of the track shall not exceed the regulations.
Generally, the track foundation of double-girder gantry crane is made by the customer himself, and the good operation of the equipment does not depend on the installation quality.
