Component of Heavy Duty Overhead Crane

■ Bridge frame

This is the main structure of the overhead crane, consisting of main beam, end beam and walkway platform. The main beam spans above the workshop or track and bears the main weight, the end beam provides stability, and the walkway provides a working platform for the operator.

■ Crane trolley traveling mechanism‌

It is responsible for the longitudinal movement of the overhead crane, usually composed of electric motors, reducers, wheels and other components to ensure that the bridge crane moves smoothly along the track.

■ Winch trolley

It is designed for horizontal movement, carrying hooks or other lifting equipment, moving along the bridge rails to complete precise lifting operations.

■ Lifting mechanism

It includes motor, reducer, drum and hook, responsible for lifting operation.

■ ‌Control system‌

Modern large-tonnage overhead cranes are usually equipped with advanced control systems, including anti-drowsiness, anti-slip systems, video monitoring and assisted driving systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
